Giovanni Pérez is a music educator, music entrepreneur, and multi-faceted performing artist. Giovanni is endorsed by Trevor James Flutes based in London, Adam Pettry Piccolo Headjoint and he is also a Latin GRAMMY-nominated flutist and record producer. He is known for his talent in both the classical and jazz genres and has artfully defined himself as a crossover flutist.
Giovanni is currently located in NYC where he is pursuing a DMA at Stony Brook University studying with Carol Wincenc in flute and Ray Anderson in jazz. His arrangements for Big Band have been premiered in the Mid West Clinic in Chicago and Lee University in Tennessee while his flute choir arrangements and compositions have been premiered in the National Flute Association, Slippery Rocks University, and New York.
