The Residency
The ensemble and composers will gather in Holyoke starting May 30, 2022. The group will be staying at Jay’s B&B and holding their rehearsals at Mt. Holyoke College.
The newly selected composers will also workshop their compositions and rehearse with the ensemble in-person and virtually.
Excerpts of their works-in-progress was to be performed at a public concert concluding the residency, however due to COVID 19 concerns the public concert was canceled.
The composers will then have the rest of the year to complete their compositions, which then will be premiered in full during the June 2023 residency and concerts. The ensemble and composers workshoped with Holyoke's Bomba de Aquí at the Players rehearsal space at Mt. Holyoke.
