The Valley A Cappella Cup (TVAC) is the Pioneer Valley’s and Western New England’s premier high school a cappella championship. TVAC will bring students together as a unified community choir to rehearse and perform a collaborative piece during the evening program. Afternoon workshop sessions, led by distinguished college and university choral directors from Amherst College, Berklee College of Music, the University of Connecticut (UCONN), The Hartt School at the University of Hartford, Smith College, and Mount Holyoke College, will introduce students to collegiate programs and provide all participating ensembles with valuable exposure to leading music educators in our region.

This inaugural event will be emceed by Hollywood and television actor Naheem Garcia, with a special judges’ deliberation performance by Javier Colon, the Season 1 winner of NBC’s hit show, THE VOICE.
