Hosted by the Holyoke Public Library. “Keeping the community informed,” MIFA invites the community to an informational presentation about the Victory Theatre Project. Come ask questions, enjoy refreshments, and get to know our organization.

Victory Players Residency & Concerts: “Puerto Abierto”/ “Brasil”
Residency: May 26 – June 7 &
Concerts: June 6, 2025
The Victory Players are excited to perform the culmination of the Puerto Abierto project, celebrating the exchange of musical ideas in the Caribbean. Concurrently, the Players will launch the new Brasil! project with previews of music by 4 composers inspired by the Brazilian American community in the United States. The residency will also include local education programs in Holyoke & South Hadley.

Special Event: Yale in Holyoke - “Cancionero de luto” (Mourning Songbook)
June 14, 2025
The prestigious Yale Choral Artists come to Holyoke! Featuring the MIFA Victory Players and composer Armando Bayolo’s world premiere of “Cancionero de luto” (Mourning Songbook) and the reprise of composer Johanny Navaro’s “Belén: Un canto sagrado a mis ancestros” (A sacred chant to my ancestors). The June 14th concert will premiere at the United Congregational Church of Holyoke, with the program repeated on June 15th at Yale’s Sprague Hall.

The debut of “Play With Time” by Eric Henry Sanders, the first new theater work to come out of a play development program initiated by MIFA Victory Theatre in Holyoke.. Featuring the music of Philip Glass, Starring Rosalba Rolón and John Hellweg. Directed by Donald T. Sanders.

Renowned Pregones/Puerto Rican Traveling Theater (PRTT) in TORCHED (Holyoke Version)
Written & Directed by Rosalba Rolón with Music by Desmar Guevara. The NYC Pregones/PRTT company will visit Holyoke beginning in winter/spring 2025 to hold workshops that develop material from local sources that will then be incorporated into performances of TORCHED.
