The Massachusetts International Festival of the Arts  invites you to a Press Conference Wednesday, October 7th, 11am to announce the conveyance of the Victory Theatre to MIFA by the City of Holyoke.   At this event,  MIFA would like to introduce our development partners Nessen Associates and the Architectural Heritage Foundation.  You will hear about the development plan for the theatre which envisions a December 30th, 2012 opening – 92 years from the date of the Victory Theatre's First Grand Opening.

MIFA delivered the proposal to purchase the Victory Theatre today.  Dave Martins of the City Purchasing Department opened two bids for the Victory at 10am this morning to an overflow crowd of MIFA friends and staff.  The next step in the process is a committee review, recommendations to the Mayor and his choice to the City Council. (Hopefully at their August 4th Meeting)
