The performance runs 75min with a reception and dialogue to follow. A walking performance that brings audiences on a visceral journey through the seven stages of grief through music, movement, imagery, and local testimony. A re-imagining of Dante Alighieri’s Purgatorio, the performance tells the story of an American afterlife, a surreal landscape where audiences experience hidden connections between environmental ruin and social oppression.

Children of the Wild is a company-in-resident at Double Edge Theatre in Ashfield, MA.
