Fleur Kuhta

Fleur Kuhta is a recent UMass Amherst Commonwealth Honors College graduate (Class of ’23, Cum Laude, Honors College Scholar of Greatest Distinction), double majoring in Theater & Psychology and receiving a certificate in Arts Management through the Arts Extension Service in the fall of ’22.
During her time at UMass, she participated in a number of UMass Theater Department productions, including performing in Wole Soyinka’s The Bacchae of Euripides (directed by Iya Judyie Al-Bilali), coordinating and marketing for the outdoor performance piece Flamingo Murmuration (created by Professor Anya Klepikov), and, as her senior thesis, producing, directing, and starring in Kander & Ebb’s Cabaret. She has designed and created over ten posters for both the Theater Department and the UMass Theatre Guild (including The Rights of Spring, WITCH, and The Rocky Horror Show), and conducted marketing campaigns for several of these productions.
Alongside her studies, she worked as a House Manager at the Fine Arts Center, operating both Tillis Concert Hall, which has housed audiences of almost two thousand patrons, and the historic Bowker Auditorium. She has also studied at Stanford University Online High School, The Performing Arts Project (Blueprint & Panorama), and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
