Directions to Wistariahurst Museum

From Interstate-91
Take Exit 16 (Route 202). If you are traveling North on I-91 bear right off exit ramp, if you are traveling South on I-91 bear left off the exit ramp. You will be on Cherry Street, Cherry Street turns into Beech Street. Go through six lights passing the Yankee Pedlar, Holyoke Hospital and Holyoke High School. After the sixth light, you will arrive at the intersection of Hampshire and Beech Streets. The museum is located on Beech Street on the right. The Museum building and grounds occupy an entire block surrounded by a stone wall with wrought iron fencing. Enter through main entrance under porte cochere at the corner of Beech and Cabot Street.
For off street parking, take a right onto Hampshire Street to the McHugh Education Center parking lot on your right. There is on-street parking on both sides of 202 North (Beech Street). The entrance is closest to the corner of 202 North and Cabot Street. Handicap parking is directly in front of the building on Route 202. Ring the doorbell at the ramp for handicap entrance.
From Amherst/South Hadley
Take Route 116 from Amherst through South Hadley passing Mt. Holyoke College, Big Y, and South Hadley High School. Take a right onto ramp Route 202 South. (Follow sign for Holyoke.) Remain on 202 South, crossing the Conneticut River, into Holyoke. At the lights after the bridge, continue straight onto Linden Street. Remain on Linden Street (202 South) until you reach Hampshire Street and go left. Drive two blocks and take a left turn onto 202 North (Beech Street). The museum is on the right side of Beech Street. The Museum building and grounds occupy an entire block surrounded by a stone wall with wrought iron fencing. Enter through main entrance under porte cochere at the corner of Beech and Cabot Street.
